Cassie Ventura Fine has revealed details surrounding the civil settlement she received from Sean “Diddy” Combs, including the exact dollar amount the disgraced mogul paid out amid accusations of sexual and physical abuse.
On Wednesday, May 14, Cassie Ventura Fine took the stand for the second day at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing federal trial and publicly confirmed for the first time that she received a $20 million settlement from the embattled music mogul, per USA Today.
The 38-year-old singer, model, and actress — who is currently pregnant with her third child — testified that the payout was made directly by Combs, 55, and his affiliated companies.

Ventura’s testimony shed further light on the highly publicized and swiftly settled lawsuit she filed against Combs in November 2023. According to Ventura, she initially approached Combs with an offer to sell him the rights to a tell-all book she had written about their turbulent relationship, pricing the deal at $30 million.
When Combs failed to respond to the proposal, Ventura filed a $30 million civil lawsuit — matching the amount she had requested for the book rights.
Shockingly, the matter was resolved within 24 hours, with Combs agreeing to a $20 million payout to Ventura in exchange for her dropping the suit.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support,” Ventura Fine said in a Nov. 17 statement released by her attorney, Douglas Wigdor.
Combs also issued a brief public response that same day, stating, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
The settlement was struck just before deeply disturbing footage leaked to the public, showing Combs physically assaulting Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel hallway in 2016.

The surveillance video, which went viral and sparked widespread condemnation, shows Combs throwing Ventura to the ground, kicking her, and dragging her while she tries to flee.
During her testimony, Ventura also alluded to prolonged physical abuse and manipulation throughout their decade-long relationship. Her lawsuit had previously accused Combs of rape, trafficking, and years of violent behavior.
These revelations align with mounting accusations from multiple women and men — both named and anonymous — who have come forward alleging similar patterns of sexual misconduct, physical abuse, and coercive control by Combs.

To date, Combs has been accused in at least seven civil lawsuits involving claims of rape, sex trafficking, and assault.
On Sept. 16, 2024, Combs was arrested on federal charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and was denied bail multiple times.
Despite mounting legal challenges and public outrage, Combs has maintained his innocence. “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor,” his legal team said in a recent statement.
If convicted, Combs faces a potential life prison sentence.
