Betty Irabor & Hubby Soni are dancing into his Birthday Today

Media veterans Betty Irabor and Soni Irabor remain one of our fave couples. They have been married for over three decades, while also building amazing careers in media and raising a family.

They also have their birthdays just days apart – with Soni’s birthday on the 23rd of March and Betty’s birthday on the 25th of March.

In new photos shared on their social media pages, the couple says they are dancing into their birthdays, starting with Soni’s birthday.

Betty captioned:

It’s hubby’s birthday today and here’s how we are dancing into a new chapter. God has promised to do a new thing in our lives and we are thankful for his blessings. Happy birthday @iraborsoni

Soni captioned:

Birthdays unfolding: 23rd and 25th March … to God be the glory. The toils, the joys, the highs and the lows. Then we’re glad that God blesses us as we both diligently work, and duly pray, to be kind in word and deed as the days unfold. Then life goes on. Another chapter opens for a better tomorrow. Our new year just starting … thank you Lord for everything.

Is The Weeknd Dissing Drake on Nav’s ‘Price on My Head’?

Nav released his sophomore album Bad Habits on Friday featuring collaborations with Meek Mill, Young Thug, Gunna, and The Weeknd.

The XO crooner, who also serves as the album’s executive producer, appears on the standout track “Price on My Head,” where he sings about being envied for his fame and wealth.

“Price on my head, got a price on my head / Nine when I rest with a knife by my bed / I’m so paranoid I’ma sleep when I’m dead,” he sings on the Derek Wise and Alexonweed production.

Abel also addresses an unresolved beef, which has sparked some speculation. While he doesn’t mention any names, Genius points out that he could be taking aim at Drake with his thinly-veiled lyrics.

“You beefin’ with yourself, tell the truth,” sings The Weeknd. “Ni**as on your side, they would ride for me too / Still wasting they time, tryna come for me too / I’m too busy, faded in Japan with the crew / With the crew, with the crew, with the crew.”

The Weeknd previously took shots at his fellow Canadian on Gesaffelstein’s “Lost in the Fire,” where he sang about a hiding a child, a possible reference to Drake’s son Adonis. “And I just want a baby with the right one / ‘Cause I could never be the one to hide one,” he sings.

The Toronto singer is currently in the lab working on his next album, which he has referred to as “Chapter 6.”

6ix9ine Scores Legal Victory in Federal Case

6ix9ine has caught a break in his federal racketeering case.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a New York judge has allowed the rapper’s former attorney, Lance Lazarro, to once again represent him.

Lazarro was taken off the criminal case due to a potential conflict of interest because he previously represented Tekashi’s former associates, Shotti (Kifano Jordan) and Crippy (Faheem Walter), who are co-defendants in the case. There was concern Lazarro gained “intimate knowledge” of their dealings and was aware of “privileged communications” that could be used in 6ix9ine’s defense.

In his affidavit, Lazarro explained to the court that he believes there was no overlapping or questionable activity. He also noted that since Tekashi has already pleaded guilty, he will not have to cross-examine Shotti or Crippy.

After reviewing the evidence, the judge ruled that there is no risk to the other co-defendants if Lazarro continues representing 6ix9ine.

He can return as lead attorney for the rapper, as soon as the Tekashi signs off on it. A hearing is scheduled for March 28 where he will tell the judge of his decision.

Last month, 6ix9ine struck a deal in his criminal case, pleading guilty to nine counts of racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking. He remains behind bars and is scheduled to be sentenced on January 24, 2020.
