  • Native doctors in Anambra State have started documenting names o fake pastors who secretly visit their shrines in pursuit of spiritual powers.
  • This bold move comes in response to rising protests against what they call unjust stigmatisation and targeted persecution of their practices.
  • Celebrities like Evan Okoro, Stanley Ontop, Radiogad, and others found the unfolding drama both shocking and darkly amusing, as the revelation threatens to shake religious circles to their core.

The Anambra State government has declared an all-out war on fake pastors and prophets who exploit religion to facilitate crime and corruption.

Plans are now in motion to arrest and prosecute those using the pulpit as a cover for fraudulent schemes, manipulations, and criminal activities.

Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, made this revelation in an exclusive video interview with ABS, stated that Governor Soludo’s administration is set to cleanse the religious space of both fake Christian and traditional worshippers.

According to him, the state can no longer watch as con artists posing as ‘men of God’ continue to exploit people’s faith, manipulate emotions, and profit from orchestrated miracles and fake prophecies while enabling crime and corruption.

Dr. Mefor emphasized that the crackdown will focus on several fraudulent practices, including the commercialisation of so-called ‘holy’ water and miracle oils, deceptive prophecies designed to extort, and fake spiritual encounters used to attract desperate followers

He warned that the newly enacted Anambra State Homeland Security Law will be ruthless, to ensure that no fraudster, no matter their disguise, escapes justice.
