Celebrities shouldn’t be mocked for wearing fake designers – Zlatan Ibile

  • Zlatan Ibile has opened up on celebrities who are accused and then berated for wearing fake designer items.
  • The rapper who is also in the fashion industry spoke against how some celebrities are mocked because of fake designers.
  • Zlatan made the statement in a video with Skit Maker Carter Efe.

Nigerian rapper and fashion entrepreneur, Zlatan Ibile, has condemned the actions of some of his colleagues who call out people for wearing fake designers.

According to him, it’s wrong for fashion entrepreneurs to publicly mock people who wear fake products because they can’t afford originals.

Speaking in a viral video, Zlatan Ibile said, “People wey dey buy fake, make dem dey buy am until dey get money to buy original. Person wey wear fake today, go wear original tomorrow.”

Recall that fashion entrepreneur Rahman Jago recently called out veteran singer Oritse Femi for wearing fake High Fashion.

A few months ago, Ashluxe boss Olayinka Ashogbon called out singer Lyta for wearing fake designs of his clothing brand.

Meanwhile, in November, Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has advised people to live fake lives.

Taking to social media via his Instagram page, the self-styled celebrity barman stated why it’s important for people to appear richer than they are.

According to the public figure, living a fake life is a fast way to open doors and make it become real life. He said that people who do not package will suffer.

In Cubana Chief Priest’s words:

“Make Sure You Appear Rich, That’s The Fastest Access To Open Doors. Na Fake Life Go Bring You Real Life. If You No Add Packaging For Your Life You Go Suffer Tire.”

Cubana Chief Priest’s statement follows celebrities who flaunt their lavish lifestyle on social media.
