The R&B stars have shown immense camaraderie this year, and Chlöe just delivered a buzzer-beater cover to show appreciation for two of the best hits of 2024. In a newly posted mashup, the 26-year-old fused together “PUSH 2 START” by Tyla and “For Certain” by PARTYNEXTDOOR in an expertly executed offering that shows off the original songs but with her added twist.
“Couldn’t go into the new year without giving you guys a little gift,” the Chloe x Halle member captioned the post. The clip shows the songstress sitting comfortably in a studio with a black tracksuit on as she effortlessly hits every note.
The instrumental is borrowed from Tyla’s summer hit with Chlöe singing the South African star’s lyrics mixed in seamlessly with the OVO signee’s words: “Give me life, I’ll change yours/ Pull Who needs signs?/ We didn’t vibe on the first night, but you’re so enticin’.”
The comment section was immediately flooded with support for her latest creation, with one user joking about how Chlöe’s covers are a bit too good, writing, “Let her cook [fire emoji]. Girl, I would put in my contract “Chloe is not allowed to cover my shhhh*t’ [laughing emojis] You not finna make me look crazy.”

Chlöe had an active year on the music front, as she unleashed her Trouble In Paradise album on Aug. 9, 2024. The 16-track project boasted guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Anderson .Paak, YG Marley, and Jeremih. It landed at No. 21 on VIBE’s Best R&B albums of 2024 list.
