Chris Brown made it crystal clear that he will not tolerate any disrespect on his anniversary world tour, whether accidental or not. During a recent performance in Cardiff, U.K., the R&B icon abruptly paused the Breezy Bowl after being hit with a liquid from a fan in the crowd.
In footage circulating online, Breezy could be seen performing his 2012 hit “Turn Up the Music” when a splash of liquid lands directly on him mid-verse. Visibly irritated, he stopped the performance and addressed the crowd with the warning: “Do not throw any drinks on this motherf**king stage. That’s all I gotta say, alright?”
According to a clip of the incident apparently posted by the fan who threw the liquid, she was promptly escorted out of the venue for what she claimed an “accident.” She captioned the moment: “POV: you accidentally threw your drink on Chris Brown and he got you kicked out.” The video also includes her giggling and saying “sorry” as Brown issued his onstage statement.
Off stage, Brown is dealing with a much more serious matter. His most recent show follows his June 20 court appearance at London’s Southwark Crown Court where he pled not guilty to one count of “attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.”
The charge stems from an alleged altercation in February 2023, in which Brown is accused of attacking music producer Abe Diaw with a bottle at Tape nightclub in London’s upscale Mayfair district.
When asked for his plea in court, Brown reportedly responded, “Not guilty, ma’am.” He is also facing one count of assault and one count of possessing an offensive weapon, for which he is expected to enter a plea for in July.

Brown’s co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu — a rapper who performs under the name Hoody Baby — also pleaded not guilty to the same grievous bodily harm charge. If convicted, Brown could face a sentence ranging from two to 16 years in prison.
The Grammy-winning artist was arrested on the charges at a Manchester hotel on May 15 while preparing for his U.K. shows. He was later released on $6,700,000 bail after initially being denied. The arrest came after a previously filed civil lawsuit in which the alleged victim claimed Brown hit him multiple times with a Don Julio 1942 tequila bottle during the same nightclub incident.
