And just like that, 2025 marks the 20th anniversary since Chris Brown formally hit the scene with his timeless, eponymous debut album.
The LP featured collaborations with Bow Wow, Lil Wayne, and Juelz Santana, singles including “Yo (Excuse Me Miss),” “Poppin,” “Say Goodbye,” and “Gimme That,” and production from Bryan-Michael Cox, Scott Storch, Sean Garrett, Antonio Dixon, and more.
Chris Brown debuted No. 2 on the Billboard 200, later earning Breezy his first two Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and the now-defunct category, Best Contemporary R&B Album.
From the nostalgic hits and career-defining scandals to debates on whether he should be crowned the King of R&B or the Bad Boy of R&B, one thing remains certain — Brown has been the center of public fodder since he was 16 and is still loved by many.
To commemorate 20 years of Chris Brown, the occasionally problematic crooner announced that he’s embarking on a stadium world tour, aptly titled Breezy Bowl XX, starting on June 8 in Amsterdam. Hitting major cities across the globe including London, Paris, Detroit, Toronto, Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles, Brown will be joined by Bryson Tiller and Summer Walker in select cities.
“TEAM BREEZY !!!!! TEAM BREEZY!!! TEAM BREEZY!!!!! BREEZY BOWL 20th anniversary TOUR!!!!!!!!!! CELEBRATING 20 years of CB. So excited to be able to share this moment with the world and my amazing fans,” he wrote on Instagram when announcing the highly anticipated trek.
Before confirming that more dates and cities will be announced, Brown expressed, “CANT WAIT TO SEE ALL YALLS BEAUTIFUL FACES. IMA TAKE YALL THREW THESE ERAS BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY GIVE YALL MY HEART AND SOUL.” This celebration was first teased during the 11:11 tour.
Thus, it was only right that VIBE honored this announcement by piecing together our ideal setlist. From Chris Brown to 11:11, check out which songs we need to see live to truly honor two decades of Chris Brown.

Set The Tone: “Whose Girl Is That?”/”Run It”
Image Credit: Paul Hawthorne/Getty Images Before Chris Brown became the teenage sensation we fell for, he was C. Sizzle and only true day ones would remember “Whose Girl Is That?”
It was an unreleased track from his C. Sizzle mixtape, but was the record that got him signed at Def Jam. It would be peak nostalgia for him to kick off his stadium tour with the jam that started it all.
“Run It” was his proper debut single, so it only makes sense for it to serve as the follow-up to “Whose Girl Is That?” The Scott Storch production, which features Juelz Santana, peaked No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the third youngest solo act to achieve such a feat.
Despite claims that Bow Wow first appeared on the record, Breezy confirmed that it was Santana and that’s who we’d like to see join him onstage.

Give Us Theatrics
Image Credit: Mindy Small/Getty Images We’d like to consider this section, the “drama” of the show. We need theatrics, choreography— the works. This is where we’d get “Gimme That,” “Poppin’,” “Winner,” “Forever,” “Strip,” and “Loyal.”
And yes, throw in the original “Wall To Wall” moves that had TikTok in a frenzy.

Serenade Me, Please

We need “Yo (Excuse Me Miss),” “Young Love,” “Ain’t No Way (You Won’t Love Me),” “Ya Man Ain’t Me,” “Say Goodbye,” and “Is This Love” from Chris Brown plus the bedroom ballads— “Take You Down,” “No BS,” No Guidance,” and “WE (Warm Embrace).”
For nostalgia’s sake, “I Wanna Be,” “Crawl,” and of course, “With You” all need to be in rotation. We can get the energy back up with 2017’s “Privacy.”

Pure Nostalgia And Surprise Guests
Image Credit: Scott Gries/Getty Images Let this part of the show be the sing-along— even if you’ll probably be going bar-for-bar with CB anyway.
This is when we’d welcome special guests like Keri Hilson for “Superhuman,” Jordin Sparks for “No Air,” Bow Wow for “Shortie Like Mine” and “Use Me,” Omarion for “Post To Be,” Jhené Aiko for “Drunk Texting,” Tyga for “Deuces,” Sevyn Streeter for “It Won’t Stop,” Kid Ink for “Show Me,” Big Sean and Ty Dolla $ign for “Play No Games,” and of course, Busta Rhymes for “Look At Me Now.”
Guests can pop out at anytime, but this is a special request for the Los Angeles show in particular.

Closing Remarks
Image Credit: Ser Baffo/Getty Images for BET There are only two songs he needs to end on: “Residuals” and “Thank You.”
Unless you’ve been blissfully unaware of the currently Adult R&B Airplay landscape, then you know that “Residuals” is the song of the moment. The Grammy-nominated ballad just peaked No. 1 on the chart and even sparked a challenge with several R&B veterans and rising stars.
In celebration of his 20-year stake in the game, he should conclude the show with the closing track from his debut album. In his own words, “It’s not official without a thank you.”
