DaBaby Hosts Billion Dollar Baby Birthday Bash With 50 Cent, Sexyy Red

DaBaby brought Hip-Hop stars from multiple generations to the stage on Wednesday (Jan. 22) at his Billion Dollar Baby Birthday Bash. Taking place in his hometown of Charlotte, NC. the 33-year-old rapper detailed his excitement for the event with 102.5 The Block last week.

“I’ve been blessed enough to perform on big stages all around the world,” detailed the “SHAKE SUMN” performer. “It’s as big as it getting for me to be able to come in and bring the type of lineup that I’m bringing and put on the table show… It’s a surreal moment, man. A full-circle moment for me.”

While his actual birthday is Dec. 22, DaBaby pushed his celebration to this month to ensure a successful event. 

“We was going to do it on the 21st [of December] so it would have actually been like on my birthday. But they were short-staffed for the holidays and we wanted to be able to do it right,” he detailed. “So they gave us a date to do it in January. Instead of me saying, ‘I didn’t, it’s not my birthday no more.’ I want to do it. Still did it, man.”

According to QC Nerve, the concert lasted over four hours with performances from 50 Cent, Sexyy Red, BigXThaPlug, Boosie Badazz, Stunna 4 Vegas, Moneybagg Yo, Toosii, Rob49, Skillababy, and more. DaBaby also performed not only his songs but joined many of the aforementioned artists on stage, as well as teamed up for a song with singer Anthony Hamilton.
