Brendan Paul, the man who was allegedly used as a drug mule in connection with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, has had all charges dropped in his felony drug case.

The charges, stemming from his March arrest at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, were dismissed by state prosecutors on Tuesday, December 17.

This decision follows Paul’s successful completion of a court-mandated pre-trial drug diversion program, which has allowed him to avoid jail time and probation, according to his attorney, Brian Bieber.

Paul, a former Syracuse University basketball player, was initially arrested in March after authorities allegedly found cocaine and marijuana edibles during a search at the airport. He was charged with one felony count of drug possession, but maintains a clean criminal record due to his compliance with the diversion program.

Federal sources further clarified that Paul has not cooperated with authorities or struck any deal against Sean Combs. These revelations have quelled any speculation that Paul might have been involved in providing information against Combs as part of a plea arrangement.

While Paul can now move forward without facing legal repercussions, Combs himself is still embroiled in his own legal troubles. The music mogul is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial on federal charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering.

He has been denied bail on multiple occassions, despite being willing to put up $50 million, offload his private jet, and relinquish his passports, among other concessions.
