Taking to social media, Clen expressed his frustration, urging those within the industry to recognize that established artists deserve respect for their time and boundaries. “I think owners and promoters should stop with the entitlement of trying to know established artists on a personal level. Honestly, that’s unfair on the artists,” he wrote. “If you’re being realistic. A proper established artist meets about 10 new people every weekend. I don’t think it’s fair that you expect to be remembered. Think about it. It’s actually abuse,” he added.

While the DJ made it clear that he wasn’t referring to himself, his comments resonate deeply with many artists who find themselves bombarded with demands beyond their professional responsibilities. In a world where personal and professional boundaries often blur, Clen is advocating for a healthier dynamic where artists can focus on their craft without unnecessary pressure to form personal connections with those who book their gigs.

The entertainment industry has long struggled with the balance between professional relationships and personal expectations. The public’s fascination with celebrity culture often extends into demanding a closer relationship with artists, but Clen’s message brings to light the reality that this can sometimes feel like an invasion of privacy.

“Just let the guy work and go,” Clen concluded in his post, advocating for a respectful and straightforward approach to artist interactions. DJ Clen’s call for respect isn’t just about creating a healthier work environment for artists but also about fostering a more sustainable relationship between the people who shape the industry and the talent at the forefront.
