DJ Clen Confirms All-Female R&B Project. Renowned South African producer and DJ, DJ Clen, has set social media abuzz with a bold announcement that’s already generating serious excitement in the R&B and hip-hop circles.

Taking to his socials, Clen revealed that his next R&B project will feature “💯 females only,” sparking intrigue and a flurry of speculation among fans. “My RnB project is 💯 females only. Can you guess the features? Let’s see,” the hitmaker teased.

Known for his finely curated collaborations and genre-blending artistry, DJ Clen is now turning the spotlight fully on female vocalists and lyricists in what many are already calling a groundbreaking move for South African R&B. While he didn’t drop any names just yet, the cryptic post has fans racing to guess who might be on the lineup.

With Clen’s track record of working with the best in the game, some suggested that female R&B stars like Nanette, Ayanda Jiya, S.B.X, Rowlene, and Shakhinah could make appearances. Others are hoping for rap-infused features from artists like Astryd Brown, Elaine and Veena to add edge to the project.

This announcement comes at a time when female representation in music is gaining well-deserved momentum, and DJ Clen’s project seems poised to amplify that energy in a powerful way.

But beyond just curating a sonically rich experience, DJ Clen made a powerful statement with this direction. In a prior post that resonated with many, he addressed the gatekeeping and exploitation that women often face in the music industry.

“To all the talented female singers who don’t get enough opportunities in the music industry because you’re not willing to sleep your way up… I’m here,” he wrote. “We gonna keep working on music together my sisters in the most professional way. Allow me to create with you.”
