Dody6 is retracting his enraged sentiments about Kendrick Lamar.
Last week, the “hey now” collaborator shared an intense tirade on social media where he opened up about life post-GNX and revealed that he was homeless ans on meth. Dody called K. Dot a “b***h,” and claimed the only thing he received from the success of music was clout.
Days later, Dody took his Instagram stories to publicly apologize to the Pulitzer-winning emcee. “I WANNA PUBLICLY APOLOGIZE TO Kendrick Lamar for CALLIN Cuz ah b***h. He Is Far FROM THAT & Ain’t Did Nothing But Bless Me n My Life,” he wrote.
During his initial rant, Dody expressed, “N**ga, I lost my house. I’m homeless. On Crip, I admit that s**t. I fell down. I’ma bounce back up though, watch this. It’s all good, cuh.”
When questioned about life after working with Kendrick, Dody admitted, “N**ga that f**king song with Kendrick ain’t change s**t. What the f**k does that change n***a? I’m still from 40s. I’m still over here. You act like a n**ga got a million dollars for that s**t. The f**k? Only thing a n**ga got is some clout and f**k clout! On the dead homies.”
It was in a separate, text exchange with Adam22 that Dody allegedly dissed Kendrick.
He reportedly wrote, “Post that s**t now. Why you not answering?” After Adam explained that he was busy, Dody responded, “Bro post I’m on meth. Idgaf. Post Dody is on meth and say k dot is a b**ch ain’t tapping in.”
Kendrick never responded to the rant— reasonable considering his Grand Nationals tour with SZA kicked off around the same time.
