Apple Music turned 10 years old this summer, and the platform celebrated the milestone by highlighting the 500 most-streamed songs over the last decade. Drake took the throne for having the most entries on the ongoing chart.

“With 27 songs, @Drake has more tracks on our AM 10 Years: Top Songs Chart than any other artist,” they wrote on X. They highlighted how his 2020 song “Toosie Slide” and 2017 cut “Teenage Fever” had already been revealed on the chart before asking what fans believed his most-played song on Apple Music was.

This is an interesting inquiry, and aptly timed as the 38-year-old rapper recently broke the record for the most RIAA Diamond certifications of all time. His songs to reach that pinnacle include “God’s Plan,” “One Dance,” “Hotline Bling,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” plus guest appearances such as “SICKO MODE,” “Life Is Good,” “Work,” and “No Guidance.” It will be some time before Apple reveals his top record, but any of these could be in play.

Drake’s success on Apple is no surprise given their close collaborative relationship from the time it took off. “Drake almost single-handedly helped us become culturally relevant from the day we launched,” Robert Kondrk, Vice President of Apple Services Product, Design, and Marketing, told The Hollywood Reporter in 2017. Drizzy reportedly signed a $19 million deal with the long-running tech company and provided more than anyone could have imagined.

The Toronto superstar hosted OVO Sound Radio on the streaming platform, where he played albums such as 2015’s What a Time to Be Alive with Future, 2016’s Views, and 2017’s More Life before they were available to stream on demand. He also briefly had an exclusivity deal, where fans could only play his albums on Apple before they were available on all other DSPs a week or so later.

In 2017, on “Family Feud” with Lil Wayne, he boasted about the success he brought Apple Music. “Somebody get Larry Jackson on the phone/ I need some ownership if we pressin’ go/ ‘Cause business is boomin’ on behalf of me/ I need a bite outta the Apple like Adam and Eve,” he rapped. Listen below.
