JT clearly isn’t here for the unsolicited opinions about her five-year relationship with Lil Uzi Vert. The former City Girls rapper found herself clapping back at an X user who questioned her authenticity as the “Neon Guts” artist’s girlfriend.
“Uzi like real weirdos and that girl be shaping her personality to match it and he still…,” the fan implied. In response, the City Cinderella rapper clarified in different languages just how long they’ve been rocking with one another: “It’s been 5 years, FIVE, cinco, cinque, senk……”
Another fan chimed in asserting to JT that they believe critics would never stop criticizing her relationship with Uzi. The “No Bars” rhymer agreed, adding, “Sliding down the seat of my Rolls Royce begging at this point.”

The couple, who began dating in 2019, kept their romance relatively private until going public in 2021. Despite ongoing commentary about their compatibility, JT has remained confident in her love for the Philly native.
The two did, however, go through a few rifts in 2023 including having a public spat at the BET Awards over Uzi giving JT’s seat to ASAP Bari. JT opened up about the infamous argument during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. The rapper detailed that Uzi gave her seat away and refused to ask Bari to move when she returned to sit down.
“You should have made sure I had that seat,” she said to Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy. “It was never about another artist.” She then went on to say that Bari should have known to give up the seat, which caused her to throw her phone at Uzi.
However, VLone owner Bari claimed the argument was over Ice Spice.
He went off on his Instagram account, telling JT to “stop lying” about her reasons for getting mad at the “I Just Wanna Rock” artist. He then posted a screenshot of JT’s interview with an overlay caption that read, “He ain’t want you [sitting] there dumb bi**h. Stop lying. She was really mad about Ice Spice not about me. She called him a groupie cause he was sitting next to her.”
Taking a shot at the City Girl’s last album together, he added: “bi**h sold 6k talking about me,” in reference to the LP’s projected first-week sales. JT seemingly responded to his post on X with, “Hoe a** ni**as be so jealous of bi**hes!”
Take a look at her full interview above and Bari’s sentiments below.
Following JT’s interview with TBC, Uzi took to social media to reveal that his relationship with the Miami star wasn’t “in the best shape.”
“Im not as close to my family as I should be. My relationship isn’t in the best shape,” he wrote at the time. “I JUST WANNA BREATHE… I’ve been distant from everyone lately, even if they are standing right next to me.”
He also included in his post: “I’m very stressed out and done with so many voice’s controlling my life. It’s like I never lived for me. I would give up all the money and perks that this comes with 2 live a perfectly normal life. I’m okay with it…After that I finally can genuinely smile.”
