Congratulations are in order for Flo Milli as the rapper welcomes her first child into the world. She made the announcement on Instagram on April 25 and invited her supporters to take their roles seriously as internet aunties and uncles.
Earlier this week, she prepped her fans by uploading a photo of a labor and delivery hospital bed with the caption, “yall pray for me.” On Friday, she posted a sweet pic of her holding her newborn with the upper half of his face not shown in the photo. The “Never Lose Me” rapper wrote, “& yall bett not play bout yall internet nephew.”
Her comment section flooded with congratulatory messages, including replies from peers like Latto, Tia Corine, Reginae Carter, Anycia, and fellow moms Kalii and Halle Bailey. See the announcement below.
Flo Milli first soft launched her pregnancy last fall when she uploaded a video of herself dancing and fans quickly pointed out her belly. After she joked on X that she was just “bloated,” she later confirmed her bun in the oven and showed off her baby shower alongside the father of her child, rapper G6Reddot.
He also posted his own announcement with the caption, “Welcome my first born sixx. it’s not easy being a black father in America Dey already counting me out.”
Despite being busy over the last few months preparing for motherhood, Flo still made sure to keep her keep her fans fed. On the same say she announced the arrival of her baby, she also dropped a brand new track “Gripper” which boasts a guest appearance from T-Pain. The 25-year-old also stayed true to her grind as she performed on stage just last month while she was 9 months pregnant.
“Just did my last show 9 months pregnant,” she wrote. “Even tho my Doc told me not to go I’m glad I still went. San Diego State was lit. Girlies drop some Mom tips b4 I go into labor.”
