  • Verydarkman recently exploded onto social media, exposing a deeply troubling case that has left many questioning the integrity of Access Bank.
  • The shocking saga revolves around the family of a deceased millionaire and a staggering N500 million that mysteriously vanished from the late customer’s account, reduced to an appalling 54 Kobo.
  • His outrage knows no bounds, as he warned his followers—especially those with accounts at Access Bank—to be on high alert.

Nigerian activist and social media powerhouse, VeryDarkMan, has laid bare a shocking inheritance scandal that involves Access bank and a disputed N500 million fortune—an issue that could change the way Nigerians view their banking institutions.

The case centers around the late Mr. Edongesi Edit Hour, whose passing on April 17, 2019, has ignited a series of explosive revelations.

VeryDarkMan, in new video, shared how Mr. Edongesi, before his untimely death, had confided in his sister, Basi Edit Hour, about his substantial financial holdings across various Nigerian banks, including GT Bank, Keystone Bank, and Access Bank.

With a Letter of Administration granted by the Kaduna High Court, VDM said Basi successfully accessed the funds in GT Bank (N10 million) and Keystone Bank (2.9 million). But the battle for the N500 million in Access Bank has become the centerpiece of this brewing storm.

According to VDM, the drama kicked off when Access Bank shockingly denied the very existence of the deceased’s account. Even after the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) verified the accounts under Mr. Edongesi’s BVN, Verydarkman claimed Access Bank allegedly handed over incomplete records, refused to offer a full account statement.

Verydarkman revealed that Access Bank in a statement, from 2020, claimed that the account had been dormant since its creation in 2016 and listed a paltry 54 Kobo as the balance.

The activist passionately argues that the missing records between 2016 and 2020 are a glaring red flag for foul play.

In his post, VeryDarkMan didn’t just call out the bank. He issued a chilling warning to his followers, urging every Access Bank customer to be vigilant and pay close attention to their own accounts.

Sharing the video, he wrote in parts:

“IF YOU HAVE AN ACCESS BANK ACCOUNT PAY ATTENTION TO THIS, YOUR FUTURE AND GENERATION MAY DEPEND ON THIS…

“THIS ALLEGATION MUST BE NOT BE SWEPT UNDER THE CARPET, A DEEP INVESTIGATION SHOULD AND MUST BE CARRIED OUT…”
