On Sunday (April 6) the Chicago rapper took to social media to share a concerning update, posting a photo from what appears to be his hospital room. In the image, an electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) machine sits beside his bed, suggesting he was under close cardiac monitoring.

“YALL BE SAFE OUT HERE BRO THIS NEW FLU STRAND AINT NO JOKE,” Herbo wrote, sounding the alarm about a reportedly aggressive flu variant that has been circulating.
While he didn’t go into detail about his specific symptoms or diagnosis, the post made it clear that his condition was serious enough to require hospitalization.
