Gigi Lamayne Gears Up For Global Takeover With Europe Tour & New Creative Era. South African hip hop trailblazer Gigi Lamayne is preparing to unveil a bold new chapter in her career—one that transcends the borders of genre and geography.

During a recent appearance on The Relebogile Mabotja Podcast, the rapper revealed plans for an international rollout of her rebranded artistry, beginning in July with confirmed shows in London and Berlin.
“Gigi Lamayne is branding,” she said with purpose, hinting at a shift in sound and scope. “I’ll be out in London and Berlin, that’s confirmed at some really cool venues. We’re rolling out from the 1st of July. It’s going to be a different type of Gigi.”
While she didn’t give away too much, Gigi Lamayne teased a multi-dimensional performance experience, blending rap with live instrumentation and other sonic elements. “I do play instruments, some rapping with some additional things happening,” she shared. “We’re looking at putting out a show.”
This next evolution is more than a musical experiment—it’s a cultural mission. Gigi spoke passionately about her gratitude to South Africa and her drive to now represent the continent on a global stage. “I think I’ve come to a point in my life where I do feel that South Africa has done so much for me, and I’m so thankful,” she said.
Partnering with Paradise, a Germany-based music company, Gigi has her eyes set on expanding Africa’s footprint in international spaces. “We’ve decided to just take on this new adventure. Meet new people… we literally just finished the project. I’m really excited about that—beyond the hip hop project,” she explained.
With a fresh body of work ready and a clear vision in mind, Gigi Lamayne is taking on the world, not just as a rapper, but as a cultural ambassador. “Now we’re selling Africa to the world. There’s no better time to be African than right now. I think we’re really cool, and I think we have a lot to offer.”
The world may know Gigi Lamayne the rapper, but come July, they’ll meet Gigi Lamayne the brand, the performer, and the global storyteller.
