Gloria Estefan Denies Involvement In “Neighbor” Diddy Freak Offs

Gloria Estefan denied any involvement in the alleged explicit behavior of Sean “Diddy” Combs after being named in a civil lawsuit last month. The 67-year-old claimed the accuser has mental health issues and that the disgraced Hip-Hop mogul was a “kind” neighbor.

“Nothing happened at my house, ever, ever,” she explained to TMZ. “So I just hope he gets in front of this, and it’s finally over for him.”

She continued to detail, “That guy is not well in the head,” in reference to the accuser. “If you look at his history, he’s just throwing everybody in. Diddy was a neighbor. He was always very kind to us, and his mom… But we never were in his house or him in ours.”

In April, a Florida man named Joseph Manzaro claimed to have been drugged and transported to Star Island in Miami for a birthday party for Christian Combs. Manzaro alleged that at the event, he was dragged to the back entrance of Emilio and Gloria Estefan’s mansion, and that the singer witnessed him in a “drug-induced stupor.” His story continued to claim Gloria demanded emergency services, only to be shut down by Emilio.

Manzaro also claims he was sexually assaulted, raped, and humiliated at the event, forced to wear a mask with male genitalia. Alongside the Estefans, he also named JAY-Z, Beyoncé, and LeBron James as attendees. The Carters’ names have since been removed.

“This complaint demonstrates the depraved lengths plaintiffs will travel to garner headlines in pursuit of a payday. No sane person reading this complaint could credit this story. Mr. Combs looks forward to having his day in court where these lies — and the perverse motives of those who told them — will be revealed,” detailed Diddy’s legal team of the detailed accusation.

Combs’ criminal trial for racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution began with jury selection on Monday (May 5). He faces life behind bars if convicted.
