Hafsat Olaronke Abiola, known better as Hafsat Abiola, is a Nigerian human rights activist, who is known for being from the MOK Abiola lineage.

Hafsat Abiola Biography, Early Life 

The Nigerian human rights activist, who is known for being from MOK Abiola lineage, Hafsat Olaronke Abiola was born on the 21st of August 1971 in Ikeja, Lagos State. 

Lagos State is a state in the South-Western part of Nigeria. Of his parents’ grown-up children, Hafsat is the eighth child.

Obtained both her First School Leaving Certificate and her West African Examination Certificate certifications from schools in Lagos State, Hafsat Abiola is a university graduate. 

Mainly, she had graduated from the prestigious Harvard College in 1996 and Phillips Academy, Andover in 1992, Hafsat received an honorary doctorate from Haverford College. 

Father, Parents

Olaronke Abiola is the daughter of Nigeria’s inaugurated (June 12, 1993) President-elect, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, known better as Chief Moshood Abiola. 

Dying under detention in 1998, Hafsat’s father was put in prison for treason after declaring himself president by the dictator Gen. Sani Abacha.

Alhaja Kudirat Abiola is the name of Hafsat Abiola’s mother. Sadly, she was killed in 1996 during a demonstration for the release of her husband. 

Early Career 

Hafsat Abiola is the founder of a non-profit, non-governmental organization that seeks to strengthen civil society and promote democracy in Nigeria tagged “Kudirat Initiative for Democracy (KIND).” 

Moreover, she is the founder of another organization that promotes mutually beneficial cross-cultural collaboration amongst the Chinese and African countries, with a specific eye on women’s contributions to the economy tagged” China-Africa Bridge and China Africa Forum,”

How Old Is She? Age, Siblings 

Well, at the time of this publication, Hafsat was 46 years old. She has more than a dozen siblings whose names we couldn’t gather, at least at the time of this publication.
