HOT 97’s legendary Summer Jam concert is back for 2025, bringing an electrifying lineup to the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. As one of the biggest and most influential Hip-Hop festivals, this year’s event promises an unforgettable night of music, energy, and surprises going down Friday (June 20).

Produced by The Black Promoters Collective and the Prudential North to Shore Festival, Summer Jam 2025 is where Hip-Hop’s “past, present, and future collide.” Headlining this year’s show are some of the hottest names in the game including A Boogie, Gunna, GloRilla, Muni Long, Asake, and Ayra Starr. Adding a layer of nostalgia are Ja Rule and Friends, who will pay tribute to the late Irv Gotti in a must-see performance.

Fans can also expect high-energy sets from Kash Doll, Bobby Konders & Jabba featuring Masicka, Jim Jones & Friends, Cash Cobain, 41 (Kyle Rich, Jenn Carter, Tata), and more.

“Summer Jam is the pinnacle of Hip Hop culture, and we’re honored to bring this electrifying experience to fans once again. This year’s lineup is a testament to the genre’s evolution, featuring both chart-topping superstars and rising talent who are shaping the future of Hip Hop,” stated Shelby Joyner, Founder of SJ Presents and President of The Black Promoters Collective in a statement.

Last year’s Summer Jam saw a slew of musical acts at the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY, headlined by Doja Cat. Hip-Hop veterans also came out to celebrate HOT 97’s 30th anniversary. Method Man, Redman, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, and more all delivered classic records.

One unforgettable moment from the 2024 event is when Meth wasn’t too pleased with the reception to his performance. “Not our crowd at all,” he wrote on Instagram afterward. “Thanks again, New York and the whole tri-state (that showed up to the event) plus Pete and Ebro I got love for you guys, but never again… at this point the generation gap is just too wide for me.. #nevercomingback.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday (April 4), at 10 A.M. via Ticketmaster.com, and with a lineup like this year’s, they won’t last long.
