How I was shot six times – Charles Okocha recalls near-death experience

  • The movie star in a recent sit down with skit maker turned podcaster Isbae U, confirmed he was shot six times but miraculously survived his wounds.
  • Okocha also showed off his scars to prove he is a survivor.

Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, better known as Igwe 2Pac, has opened up about his near-death experience.

Featuring in a recent episode of ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ the comedian shared that he was once shot six times and miraculously survived.

Charles Okocha revealed that one of the bullets passed through one side of his stomach and came out on the other side.

The host, IsBae U Barbie asked, “Is it true that you were shot six times?”

Stripping himself to show off scars of the bullet wounds, Okocha said:

“I want the whole wide world to see my scars. Six shots. One of the bullets got in through my stomach and popped out on the other side.

“If only you knew I was shot you won’t be asking me. I’m a survival. Look at my life. Look at what I have been through. I’m the last real n*gga alive and that’s official.”

Meanwhile on January 22, 2025, Disc Jockey, Nonso Temisan Ajufo, popularly known as DJ Big N recounted how he narrowly escaped death after a robbery attack in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The DJ revealed that he was on his way to a club on the 12th of January alongside an acquaintance when they were ambushed by a gang of six men.

He said he was shot in the leg while attempting to escape, adding that the robbers took away his jewellery and other valuables worth $114,000.

DJ Big N shared that he was rushed to a nearby hospital and the doctors described his survival as “miraculous.”
