Jamie Foxx believes the biggest “GOAT conspiracy” is the Illuminati, but he doesn’t believe in the existence of it whatsoever.
During a recent sit-down with Complex for their GOAT Talk series, the Oscar winner opened up about his thoughts on the Illuminati. “I don’t believe in none of that s**t,” he declared. “Especially the Illuminati. It’s only us. How are we not benefitting from it then? If we supposed to be running this whole thing, how the f**k did I get stopped by the cops the other day? Can the Illuminati come and tell them to get off my a**?”
When fans were speculating the cause of Foxx’s mysterious illness back in April 2023, many of them blamed the Illuminati and alluded to him being a clone. “The internet was trying to kill me, though. The internet said Puffy tried to kill me. I know what you’re thinking, did he?” he joked.
At the time, his family remained notoriously private about the ordeal and only called it a “medical complication.” However, in his 2024 Netflix special What Had Happened Was, Foxx went into detail about what he endured.
He suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke and he was comatose for nearly three weeks. He praised his daughters Corinne and Anelise along with his sister Deidra Dixon for advocating on his behalf, protecting him during the dark time, and nursing him back to health in tandem with his medical team.
By September 2024, Foxx was healthy enough to walk his daughter down the aisle at her wedding.
