During the interview, Wunmi also addressed her strained relationship with Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba.

She noted that there were already family disputes before her husband’s passing, which have only worsened since then.

My father-in-law used to be my friend, but before my husband died, there were some family issues. Right now, everyone thinks it’s about justice for Mohbad, but deep down, it’s a family dispute,” she stated.

She added that Mohbad had tried to mend the rift before his demise, but the conflicts persisted.

Wunmi further expressed her disappointment over the public discussions regarding the paternity of her son, Liam. She criticized Mohbad’s father for bringing up the DNA test issue online instead of speaking to her privately.

“I expected my father-in-law to call me privately about the DNA issue, but instead, he went online talking about it,” she lamented.
