Ice-T was pulled over by a police officer during a traffic stop, and the cop’s actions may have brought back the original gangster. Bodycam footage of T being pulled over in May 2024 surfaced online, showing what went down during the traffic stop.
After the cop runs the actor’s information, he discovers that Ice has been illegally driving around since 2021. The West Coast icon, né Tracy Lauren Marrow, asserted that he was actually on his way to the Department of Motor Vehicles to update his records.
However, the police officer continues to poke and prod at Marrow, with comments implying that he was up to no good, asking, “Are you sure?” Ice then snaps, asserting, “Yeah, of course, I’m sure. That’s why I’m trying to get this car set up. Yesterday, I went to the DMV, and they said their system was down. I got seven cars, I’m trying to get them all straight… You don’t gotta be that serious about this. I mean you can, but you don’t have to.”
And things escalate from there. The unnamed officer then tells Marrow that he’s going to tow his whip and demands that Ice-T hand over the vehicle’s keys.
“You’re not finna to tow my f**king vehicle. Let me park my car right here,” he adds. “If I’m not under arrest, I’m getting out of the car. Give me my paperwork you f**king a**hole. Give me my f**king paperwork.”
“Get this on camera,” Marrow said, looking directly at the camera. “This muthaf**ker… I’m a foot away from the DMV. You’re an a**hole.”
Later, the cop’s boss pulls up to the scene and chides the officer for holding up Ice-T. The first unnamed cop maintains that the rapper was in the wrong and should be dealt with accordingly. Marrow eventually was handed four tickets and was allowed to drive to the DMV to update his records.
