  • Ifedi Sharon recently plunged into troubled waters after a misstep in the caption of a new video with Ruby Ojiakor ignited fierce backlash.
  • Overwhelmed by the wave of criticism and disappointment in herself, Sharon broke down in tears in a heartfelt video, laid her heart bare, stressed that it was nothing more than an honest mistake.

Young Nigerian actress Ifedi Sharon has come forward with a tearful apology to senior colleague Ruby Ojiakor and her fans, after being fiercely criticized over her action for what many saw as a sign of disrespect.

Orjiakor, who recently began her marital journey with actor Moc Madu in a vibrant traditional ceremony, has been on a heartfelt mission, personally delivering her white wedding party outfits to colleagues who missed her big day.

When she arrived at Sharon’s doorstep, the young actress shared a clip of the tender moment online, capturing smiles, hugs, and the warmth of celebration.

But what should have been a sweet gesture quickly soured. Sharon’s caption, according to Ruby’s fans, lacked the honorifics expected in Nigerian culture, where respect is a currency deeply valued.

She addressed Ruby by name alone, a misstep seen by many as a glaring disregard for age and status.

The response was swift and unforgiving. Critics sharpened their words, accused Sharon of arrogance.
