Wedding bells might be in the not-so-distant future for Jeff Coby and Larsa Pippen.
Less than three weeks after making their red carpet debut as a couple, the former professional basketball player dropped a major hint about their future while speaking with TMZ in Miami. As the pair walked hand-in-hand outside an event on Sunday (May 4), they were approached by paparazzi who repeatedly asked if they were happy in their relationship.
In a playful response, Coby announced, “We’re getting married 2025-6… We’re getting married. It’s gonna be a beautiful marriage. November 2025.” Larsa’s reaction to the comment was priceless, as she smiled, looked down, and hid her face behind her cellphone. It was clear she wasn’t expecting such a bold statement. When the paparazzi asked if he had already proposed or if this was his way of popping the question, he replied with a smile, “I can’t tell you when I’m gonna propose.” See below.
While Coby’s comment was made lightheartedly, it sparked curiosity about the future of their blossoming romance.
Just a few weeks ago, the couple attended the premiere of The Accountant 2 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, marking their first public outing together. Their red carpet moment came nearly nine months after Larsa’s split from Marcus Jordan. Prior to that, she was married to NBA legend Scottie Pippen, with whom she shares four children.
The alleged reason behind Larsa’s decision to end her relationship with Michael Jordan’s son was his “nonstop wild partying.” A close source told Marca that Marcus had been “lying to her every day” about his drug use. “She can’t waste her energy on anyone who takes drugs,” the insider reportedly shared with the outlet. “He’s been hiding this lifestyle for a while and used to lie to her about it every day.”
The source further explained that Larsa stopped taking calls from Jordan once his erratic behavior became overwhelming and impossible to ignore. This revelation came shortly after Jordan went viral for a series of photos showing him seemingly snorting an unknown white substance. The substance was not officially identified.
Larsa also appeared on the Amy And T.J. show where she confirmed that she was “single and ready to mingle” and that she and Marcus were on “different journeys.” “I feel like I have to be true to who I am,” the 49-year-old explained. “What I’m doing and what he’s doing, you know? I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.”
