Nigerian gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi has sparked national outrage after a chilling confession in a viral video, where he openly confessed to why he butchered his supposed girlfriend, Salome Adaidu.

In an interview with AIT News in Lafia, Timileyin recounted the tragic events leading up to Salome’s death, offered a disturbing glimpse into the grim details.

Timileyin recounted that Salome had initially asked him for transport money to come over to his house, but he claimed he was financially strapped and couldn’t send her anything.

Despite his refusal, he claimed Salome persisted, eventually made her way to his home on her own, which, according to him, was the beginning of a chain of events that would spiral out of control.

When she arrived, instead of the warm reception he might have expected, said Salome immediately began complaining about being hungry. Timileyin, perhaps feeling a mix of guilt and obligation, revealed how he reluctantly decided to step out and buy her something to eat.

However, the situation took a dark turn when, after spending some time together, Timileyin claimed to have checked Salome’s phone.

Upon discovering what he believed to be evidence of her infidelity, Timileyin admitted to being consumed by anger and rage. In a fit of jealousy and suspicion, he said that he ultimately attacked Salome with a knife, fatally injuring and cutting her out.
