Jonathan Majors‘ comeback film, Magazine Dreams, is headed to a screen near you in just a few days. On Monday (March 17), he stepped out alongside director-writer Elijah Bynum to host a special screening of the film at The London Hotel in Los Angeles.

Majors was joined by his fiancée, Meagan Good, David Oyelowo, Briarcliff Entertainment CEO/Founder Tom Ortenberg, Jesse Metcalfe, Michael Jai White, his wife Gillian, and co-star Mike O’Hearn.

Of the event, O’Hearn expressed, “Fun night with my friend Jonathan Majors and the lead of ‘Magazine Dreams’ which I believe will be nominated for Best Movie and Jonathan with a best leading man of 2025. So proud to be part of this movie. It’ll be a movie that would live on for decades.”

Not many more details from the event are available considering new reports about Majors that are centered around newly surfaced audio. The recordings confirm he strangled his ex-girlfriend. Yet, it appears that a panel discussion occurred at the event and was moderated by Oyelowo.

Ortenberg previously praised Majors and Bynum to Variety. “Elijah’s film made a well-deserved splash… Jonathan Majors’ transcendent performance as Killian Maddox will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the most compelling and transformative roles in recent cinema history. We are honored to bring this extraordinary work to theaters nationwide, inviting audiences to witness a story that will resonate long after the credits roll.”

In Magazine Dreams, Majors plays Killian Maddox, a complicated man with consuming dreams of being a famous bodybuilder. “You have to do something big and important, or no one will remember you when you’re dead,” he says in the trailer.

The official synopsis reads: “[Killian] battles both the limits of his physical body and his own inner demons” while exploring the “lengths one man will go in his haunting quest for recognition in a world that often overlooks him.”

The film also stars Harrison Page, Taylour Paige, and Haley Bennett. It hits theaters on March 21.
