K.O Shares Behind-the-Scenes Magic of “Pharadise” Featuring Young Stunna. With just days to go before the release of his highly anticipated album Phara City, K.O is giving fans a glimpse into the making of one of its standout tracks — “Pharadise”, a genre-fusing single featuring amapiano star Young Stunna and co-production by long-time collaborator Lunatik.

In a recent reveal, the Skhanda World frontman broke down the collaborative energy that sparked the song into existence. “The new record, ‘Pharadise’ featuring Young Stunna, is co-produced by my dawg Lunatik,” K.O explained. “I have AfroTraction in there. The day we actually had the session, AfroTraction pulled up to the studio with the homie from Murumba Pitch.”
What was initially meant to be a session with a few contributors turned into a vibrant, spontaneous jam session. “The homie was in there contributing to the whole creative process,” K.O continued. “It also happened to put his own sound in the studio. So, it was just like some fun and just ended up building together with everyone else who was out there.”
K.O emphasised how organic the experience was, with everyone in the room playing a role in shaping the track’s soulful, cross-genre sound. “It was great having all those contributions,” he said. “The cherry on top was obviously Young Stunna at the end, who came in and just like tied the entire thing together.”
“Pharadise” sets a collaborative tone ahead of the Phara City release on Friday, June 13, a project that promises to blur genre boundaries while spotlighting some of South Africa’s finest talents.
