Kai Cenat has risen to fame at an exponential rate over the last few years, but with immense popularity comes even bigger risks. The top streamer recently opened up to his viewers about a terrifying incident where a stranger got into his bedroom while he was sleeping, causing him to momentarily fear for his life.
“Imagine you’re sleeping, gang, I woke up to a n**ga looking over me and saying, ‘Kai, what’s up bro? How you doing bro?” he exclaimed while streaming.
He then explained how he was so startled that he prepared to defend himself, but ultimately decided not to after realizing the intruder was relatively young. “Word to my mother, I almost clapped him. But God was with me, n**ga. The n**ga was probably like 17, gang,” he went on.
As of the encounter weren’t concerning enough, the possessions the person brought with him confirmed he was a super-fan of Kai. “This n**ga had Arizona, grapes, strawberry shortcake, and Caprisun in a bag. He said, ‘Bro, these are all of your favorite things. I came to deliver this for you bro,’” he said in disbelief. “Chat, I really woke up to somebody in my room, gang. I’m looking around, grabbed my gun and said, ‘Who you?’”
Just last month, one of the 23-year-old’s streams went viral after Ray J called in and said he was upset he wasn’t invited to the legendary Druski and Kevin Hart collaboration. The “One Wish” singer then took things further by joking he wanted to shower with the streamer crew (with trunks on), but his sister Brandy expressed her disappointment with the interaction.
“My sister hates who I am! And all I’m doing is being myself!” Ray J wrote about Brandy’s reaction. “I don’t know how to be better than who I am. I tried.”
Kai Cenat had a career-high year in 2024 thanks to his successful completion of Mafiathon 2, which featured guests like John Cena, Kyrie Irving, Sexyy Red, Lizzo, SZA, and more. He also won Best Just Chatting Streamer, Best Marathon Stream, and Best Streamed Collab at second iteration of The Streamer Awards in 2024.
