Kaizer Chiefs coach gives star new signing EXTENDED holiday!

Kaizer Chiefs have given one of their new signings an extended holiday!

While the club reported for pre-season training earlier this week, Dillon Solomons was given additional time off.

Solomons’ agent Grant Nieuwehuys confirmed that his player was given an extended holiday.

This comes after Solomons had participated in the promotional/relegation playoffs with his former side Swallows.

Kaizer Chiefs give Solomons extended holiday!

“Solomons is happy they handed him an extended break until 2 July,” the player’s representative Grant Nieuwenhuys told KickOff.

“He played in the play-offs. So he’s taking a bit of time off to spend time with his family. He’ll be ready to go to Kaizer Chiefs and fight for his place in the team.

“He is fully aware of that. We reminded him of that so he will be ready when he goes back.”

Amakhosi transfer latest!

In other transfer news, Kaizer Chiefs have a clear path in landing Pule Mmodi!

According to reports, the Amakhosi have been given first preference in the race to land the skillful winger.

“The first club that we have been talking to about Mmodi is Kaizer Chiefs and they continue to have a first option on this deal.” a source told SABCSport.

“They have shown a serious interest from the word go and it’s only fair that we give him the first option.

“We will only start considering other offers only when nothing comes out of these negotiations but for now, we will have keep it there,”

Kaizer Chiefs most recently welcomed FIVE new signings.

The Glamour Boys signed George Matlou, Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Dillon Solomons. The trio arrived from neigbours Swallows.

Siyethemba Sithebe was also unveiled by the club alongside Yusuf Maart.

The ‘major’ revamp at Naturena got underway with the arrival of defender Zitha Kwinika and attacker Ashley Du Preez earlier this month. The pair arrived from Stellenbosch FC.
