Kaizer Chiefs legend Siphiwe Tshabalala is said to be considering an offer from a DStv Premiership side!
Tshabalala has been unemployed since the beginning of the season after being deemed as surplus to requirements by Benni McCarthy at AmaZulu.
A new DStv Premiership side however is interested in signing him and the former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana star is reportedly considering the offer!
The 37-year-old has caught the eye of Baroka FC and the club are looking to rope the 2010 Fifa World Cup hero in at the club for both on-field and off-field purposes.
Kaizer Chiefs legend set for PSL comeback?
“Baroka want him, they really want to sign Shabba (Siphiwe Tshabalala). I mean, Shabba is one of the best players that was ever produced in South Africa, plus he is also a good role model.” a Phakaaathi report read regarding the Kaizer Chiefs legend.
“You won’t hear any bad stories about him in the media. So, the guys at Baroka want to sign him to not only be a player, but to be a good role model to the youngsters and be their big brother. He knows that the offer was placed on the table for him, he just has to think about it and sign, I mean, even the money is good,”
Shabbat NOT done just yet – Agent
According to his agent Jazzman Mahlakgane, the former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana star is not ready to retire just yet meaning Baroka’s offer may indeed lure him back to the PSL!
“He has not retired. I don’t want to start any conversations about Tshabalala at the moment because I might get distracted as we are currently busy working on something for him,” Mahlakgane said as quoted by IOL
