Ye (f.k.a. Kanye West) made a shocking appearance today (June 13) at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial in Manhattan to show support for the embattled Bad Boy Records founder.
Arriving in a black vehicle, Ye donned an all-white denim outfit and dark shades as he passed by media members to walk directly into the courthouse.
When asked by a reporter if he was attending the trial in support of Diddy, Ye simply responded, “Yes.” He apparently didn’t respond to any other questions about whether he would take the stand. His wife Bianca Censori was not by his side despite also reportedly being in the city.
According to Page Six, close sources say Ye has been in contact with Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs, and has been working on music with the 27-year-old. Reports have indicated that Ye may continue attending proceedings once the defense begins presenting its case, expected to start in the next coming days.
The controversial icon has been one of Diddy’s loudest supporters as the 55-year-old faces serious charges including sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy.
Since Diddy’s arrest in September 2024, Ye has used his platform to voice support for his longtime industry peer, at one point posting a message on X that read, “FREE PUFF,” followed by a call out of celebrities who’ve remained silent during Diddy’s legal woes. He also called on Donald Trump to help.

Most notably, Ye previously commented on the harrowing surveillance footage showing Diddy assaulting Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway, calling it an expression of “true love.” On X, Ye wrote, “When a man truly loves a woman, he may express it in rage.” The statement was met with immediate backlash.
Ye only intensified the controversy when he began selling a hoodie identical to the one Cassie was wearing in the footage — reportedly making over $30,000 in sales.
