Kanye West is wildin’ out. And no, this isn’t A.I.
In the wee hours of Tuesday morning (March 18), Ye took to X/Twitter, where he unloaded on a plethora of previous collaborators and “friends.” The once-beloved producer began his rant by responding to Playboi Carti’s request for a North West feature from her mother, Kim Kardashian, rather than Ye himself. West then took aim at Carti for “intentionally” leaving him off of his recently issued LP, I Am Music.
“I DECIDED NORTH WONT BE DOING ANY SONGS WITH CARTI,” he began. “HOW IT LOOK FOR ME TO GET LEFT OFF THE ALBUM AND THEN HE ASK KIM TO HAVE VOCALS FROM MY DAUGHTER. I DONT [GIVE] A F**K ABOUT NONE OF THIS INDUSTRY SH*T AND HOW ITS A SKIMS LINE IN THE FIRST PLACE. AND I DONT GIVE A F**K WHAT NO COMMENTS. THE MAN HAS THE FIRST AND FINAL SAY OVER HIS KIDS…I HELD MY TONGUE ABOUT [NOT] BEING ON CARTI ALBUM. HIM GOING TO MY EX TO ASK MY DAUGHTER TO BE ON A SONG 2 DAYS LATER WAS TOO FAR NOBODY FINNA PLAY WITH ME.”
“‘HEY NORTH YOUR DAD GAVE ME MY BIGGEST SONG AND CO SIGN AND I LEFT HIM OFF OF MY ALBUM BECAUSE OF HIS TWEETS. OH BUT ‘NORTH YOU MY NIECE I GOTTA USE YOUR VOCALS,’” Ye added about Carti a couple of posts later, referencing 2024’s “CARNIVAL.”
Then came the Kendrick Lamar slander. West’s relationship with Lamar is odd at best, and while the 47-year-old has previously shared that he admired K. Dot for taking out Drake, he claims not to like the song that made it possible. Afterward, the Chicago artist flamed Pusha T, Ty Dolla $ign, Travis Scott, and even the late Virgil Abloh — including pictures to accompany the rant.
“I HAAAAAATED ‘NOT LIKE US,’” he typed. “KENDRICK PLEEEEASE COME DISS MEEEE ON BEHALF OF LUCIEN GRANGE PLEEEEEASE.”
“NOBODY GET A PASS. I WAS A PART OF SO MANY OF THESE NI**AS SUCCESS AND A LOT OF NI**AS LET THE JEWS CONTROL THEM,” Ye continued. “PUSHA TALKING ABOUT HE DONT AGREE WITH MY POLITICAL OPINIONS. BRO I HATE ALL THESE NI**AS THAT IVE SAT AND CHOPPED SONGS FOR…EVERYBODY A USER.
“ALL TURNED THEY BACK WHEN I SPOKE THE TRUTH. THE JEWS PUNKED YALL OH AND THE FRENCH. TY AINT HAVE TO USE THE TERM HATE SPEECH. EVERY NI**A IN THE INDUSTRY IS A SLAVE TO THIS FA**OT A** JEWISH INDUSTRY. EVERRRYYYYY ONE. DO YOUR F**KING DISS SONGS OR PULL UP.”
And despite recently thanking Tyler, The Creator for his continued support and previously claiming to love Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” West lambasted all three men with scathing posts.
The Life of Pablo musician tore down “little brother” Tyler, claiming that the Odd Future leader doesn’t have a single memorable song in his catalog, even though “HIS LAST ALBUM RIPPED OFF MY WHOLE LANGUAGE.” He then claimed that Metro and Future, “CALLED ME TO GET ON THE LIKE THAT REMIX AND THEN AFTER I MENTIONED LUCIEN GRANGE THEY DIDNT PICK UP MY CALL OR PUT THE SONG ON DSPs.”
