“So for me, it’s like, even in my music I try to balance both because I was born in Zim, this is home. But I grew up in SA, that’s home,” Kindlynxsh shared, his words resonating with a deep sense of belonging to both nations. “Those are my two homes, and because of that I feel like I’m a special case.”

Rather than choosing sides, Kindlynxsh sees his dual heritage as a unique strength. “I’m like a product of Africa,” he said, emphasizing his desire to represent not just Zimbabwe and South Africa, but the entire continent. “I think I should use that as an opportunity to be the African soldier. I want to represent the whole of Africa from the two places I’m from, I want to bring all other places and give lights.”

His vision is bold yet heartfelt, aiming to shine a spotlight on African stories and sounds through a fusion of genres that reflect his cross-cultural journey. Fans across the region are already buzzing about what this “African soldier” will do next, as Kindlynxsh continues to weave his roots into a tapestry of music that speaks to the soul of a continent.
