LeBron James Reacts To LeBronified Remixes Trend

Over the last few weeks, LeBron James‘ cultural influence reached another sphere outside of sports when his name and likeness infiltrated the music world. Remixes of popular songs started popping up on TikTok with the creators replacing parts of the tracks with references to the legendary NBA player. The talented fans making these concoctions now have official confirmation that James has heard the LeBronified creations.

Last night (March 31), the four-time champion was asked by a FOX Sports reporter if he has seen the trend. He acknowledged how unavoidable the remixes have been, saying with a laugh, “Yeah, I mean it’s almost impossible [not to]. My youngest son Bryce actually showed me one yesterday.”

James seems to be amused by the movement, adding, “We got a good laugh out of it. There’s quite a few out there.”

Another person in the room asked if it was “the choir one” he saw, but James said it was “the one that went LeBron, LeBron, LeBron James.”

If there’s one thing this trend has proven, it’s that LeBron James’ fanbase has a superb sense of humor. The reactions that followed his acknowledgment were just as funny, as one TikTok comment read, “He knows we exist!! My glorious king.” Another user complimented the journalistic skills of the person who asked Bron, writing, “Finally someone asking the real questions,” as someone on X echoed, “Bro which ever reporter asked him that question is reporter of the year.”

The social media movement was kicked off with an R&B tune that featured a male vocalist crooning “LeBron, LeBron, LeBron James” over a smooth instrumental. That creation went viral, spawning popular remixes to hits like “Man In the Mirror” by Michael Jackson (which turned into “Man On The Lakers”), “F**k You” by Cee Lo Green, “Ain’t It Fun” by Paramore, and plenty more. Although the songs started off as jokes, many of the entries have displayed impressive skills from their respective creators, showing off their talents in production, vocals, songwriting, and creativity.

Bron is currently locked in as the race to the playoffs continues. The Los Angeles Lakers are currently 46-29, with their next match up taking place on Thursday (April 3) against the Golden State Warriors. If he ever needs some locker room tunes, at least we know now that Bryce could send him a few.
