Lil Baby is back on top. The Atlanta rapper’s latest release WHAM earned a first place debut on the Billboard 200 chart, making it the first No. 1 album of 2025. This marks the 30-year-old’s fourth No. 1 album, following It’s Only Me in 2022, The Voice of the Heroes with Lil Durk in 2021, and My Turn in 2020.

According to the outlet, WHAM earned 140,000 album-equivalent units in the U.S. in the week ending Jan. 9. The project beat out Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS which debuted at No. 2, counting five days of activity as the album was released on an off-cycle Sunday.

Sharing the news of his chart-topping album, the Grammy winner announced a follow-up due next month, writing, “See yall Again in a couple weeks ‘Dominique’ The Album 2-?-25” in an Instagram caption.

In full, WHAM counted 119.77 million on-demand official streams of the album’s songs, debuting at No. 3 on the Top Streaming Albums chart, as well as album sales totaling 50,000 units. Days after its release, the album was updated with a deluxe edition available on the rapper’s website and later on streaming services.

WHAM features 21 Savage, Future, GloRilla, Rylo Rodriguez, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and Rod Wave across 19 tracks in the extended version. There is notably no feature from Gunna, Lil Baby’s past frequent collaborator, as their professional and personal relationship has dissolved.

“The only thing I care about is people enjoying my music, I try to leave it at that. If it’s outside of that, I really don’t care to feed into it,” he explained to Clash Magazine last year.

Take a listen to WHAM below.
