Lil Uzi Vert has a lot of niche opinions to share, and they recently got to express their stance on multiple random topics thanks to Pitchfork’s Over/Under series. The Philadelphia rapper sat down with the publication and gave their rapid-fire takes on subjects like having kids, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, furries, and more.
When asked about the Brazilian butt lift plastic surgery procedure, often referred to as BBLs, Uzi said with a smile, “Underrated.” They added, “BBLs actually get a lot of hate. Only people that be hating on BBLs, especially in the boy community, is the ones that got no BBL girls. BBLs are lit, they cool. If a woman wanna make theyself look better in their eyes, I’m with it.”
In the rest of the episode, they say Ash Ketchum is overrated, but his outfits are underrated because his “denim and vest game was crazy.” Uzi also got so passionate about giving Hayley Williams her flowers that they promised to gift one of the producers on set a pair of Balenciaga shoes just for praising the Paramore singer with them. The 29-year-old star also aired some grievances after when the topic of music leaks came up, saying, “Leaks are not ready to be presented. So when y’all get leaks… when y’all sit there any get 82 of my leaked songs that I haven’t put together in the right way, and y’all sit here and say, ‘Lil Uzi is trash.’ Y’all are literally watching me get dressed in my closet. I don’t got my clothes on yet, so y’all basically seen me naked.”
Speaking of their music, Lil Uzi’s last full-length release was November 2024’s Eternal Atake 2, the sequal to the 2020 project of the same name. ET2 boasted a sole feature from Big Time Rush and was promoted with a Gibson Hazard-directed visual trailer.
The short film took viewers back to March 6, 2020, when Uzi “mysteriously vanished.” The video was captioned, “While it was never confirmed what happened that day, the faithful believe it to be the fulfillment of a long-awaited prophecy.” Revisit the album below.
