Lowfeye Announces Upcoming EP “Imibuzo”

Taking to Instagram yesterday, the talented rapper revealed the release date—March 7, 2025—accompanied by a heartfelt red heart emoji, symbolizing his passion for the craft. Fans can secure their spot in this next chapter of his musical journey as pre-orders are now live on streaming platforms.

Lowfeye, whose artistry continues to redefine South African hip-hop, is no stranger to accolades. Last year, his critically acclaimed album Mfana Kamakhulu became a breakout success, surpassing 1 million streams across platforms and solidifying his name as one of the most promising voices in the game. With its introspective lyrics and versatile production, the album resonated deeply with fans, earning him widespread recognition both as a solo artist and as part of the Qwellers collective.

Now, Imibuzo promises to be another bold step forward. Translating to “Questions” in English, the title hints at a project likely to delve into personal and societal reflections, a signature of Lowfeye’s lyrical depth. While details about the EP’s tracklist and collaborators remain under wraps, the announcement has already sparked excitement amongst the rapper’s fans.

As a key member of the Qwellers, a group known for their genre-defying sound and cultural authenticity, Lowfeye has always maintained a balance between individual artistry and collective success. His ability to weave vivid narratives has not only earned him respect in the South African hip-hop scene but also opened doors to a growing audience.
