Babes Wodumo’s bae speaks on his sudden weight loss : Mampintsha suffering a “deadly disease”

West Ink Records owner, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo has come out in defence of his drastic and seemingly sudden, weight loss.

2019 has certainly been an eventful year for Mampintsha. It seems that the star cannot get his name out of the rumour mill and this time around, the murmurs were sprung up about his drastic weight loss.

Things between Mampintsha and Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” SImelane have since died down, partially because people have lost interest in the ups and downs of that toxic relationship.

At the centre of gossip, though, is how he miraculously lost all that weight. People were gobsmacked when a video showing a leaner Mampintsha dancing.

Mampintsha’s new body was not celebrated by many. Some believed that it could be linked to a chronic illness. After all, his late Big Nuz compatriot, Mashesha, passed away in 2015, “after a long illness.”

Unable to ignore the ongoing rumours surrounding his weight, Mampintsha set the record straight.

In a video on social media, he said he is not sick and doesn’t care much about other people’s opinions.

Speaking in isiZulu, Mampintsha also had a spicy clapback for those “spreading lies” about his weight, saying such people relied on these rumours to sleep at night.

“Angiguli (I am not sick),” he said.

This is the video showing the star’s reaction to the rumours.
