Meghan Markle is unbothered by fans who offered critique of her recent viral video.
Speaking on the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, the 43-year-old reflected on recording the “Baby Momma” dance clip with her husband, Prince Harry, and uploading it to social media.
“You have to be authentic,” she shared with Grede before she questioned, “Did you see my ‘Baby Momma’ dance?” according to PEOPLE Magazine.
After she confirmed she viewed the clip, Grede added, “And I did like a little secret cheer, cause I was like, well, that’s what I kind of want to see from you. Like, I wanna see that happiness and that honesty and that ‘I don’t give a f**k’ kind of thing.”
“That was four years ago,” explained Markle. “So it’s also a really great reminder that with all the noise or whatever people do, there’s still a whole life — a real, authentic, fun life — that’s happening behind the scenes.”
She continued to detail, “I’m just grateful that now, being back on social as well, I have a place where I can share it on my own terms.”

In the video shared on Meghan Markle’s Instagram, she was in labor with her now 4-year-old daughter, Lilibet. While they waited in the hospital room, the Duke And Duchess of Sussexx enjoyed a fun dance break to Starrkeisha’s “The Baby Momma Dance.”
“Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates,” she detailed in the caption. “So when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!”
On his own account, Prince Harry remembered the day in his memoir, Spare. In the book he wrote, “I went and stood beside the doctor. We both crouched. As if about to pray. The doctor called out, ‘The head is crowning.’ Crowning, I thought. Incredible.”
