Meghan Markle shared a lighthearted clip from a milestone moment in her personal life. Taking to social media, the 43-year-old shared a throwback video from her time in labor with her now 4-year-old daughter, Lilibet.
In the video, she and her husband, Prince Harry, dance together to Starrkeisha’s “The Baby Momma Dance,” a playful song used by pregnant women often on social media. “Been pregnant for way too long, tell the DJ turn it on,” rhymes the track before instructing listeners to drop it low. Both Meghan and Prince Harry laugh as they move to the beat.
“Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates,” she detailed in the caption. “So when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!” The Duchess of Sussex closed out with a crying-laughter emoji.
In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry recalled the story of Lilibet’s birth at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California in 2021. The couple also has a son, Archie, who is now 6 years old.
“I went and stood beside the doctor. We both crouched. As if about to pray. The doctor called out, ‘The head is crowning.’ Crowning, I thought. Incredible,” he detailed per PEOPLE Magazine. After the delivery, he and his wife were brought In-N-Out Burger and fajitas from a member of their security team.
“We ate and ate and then did the Baby Mama dance around the hospital room,” Prince Harry wrote. “Nothing but joy and love in that room.”
