A yacht rented by Hip-Hop producer Metro Booming burst into flames and sank in the water outside a popular Miami strip club the hitmaker was partying at this past weekend.
On Sunday (Jan. 19), the St. Louis native and his entourage were enjoying their time at South Florida hotspot Booby Trap when the fire, which is said to have been sparked by a speaker, occurred onboard.
No passengers or crew members were on the boat at the time of the incident.

According to reports, the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) team were alerted immediately and arrived on the scene shortly after, extinguishing the fire, seemingly causing the yacht to sink into the water.
A photographer, who was present at the scene took to Instagram to share a first-hand report of the incident, posting a video of the fire and the damaged caused as a result.
She also noted that the Booby Trap was evacuated, with patrons continuing to party outside of the venue as the firefighters fought to extinguish the flames.

Metro Boomin’s yacht fiasco puts the GRAMMY Award-nominated boardsman back in the headlines for the new year, as he remained a fixture throughout 2024.
His smash hit alongside Future and Kendrick Lamar, “Like That,” took over the airwaves, while the resulting fallout between himself and Drake led to the viral “BBL Drizzy” challenge, in which fans rapped over an instrumental poking fun at Drake’s alleged cosmetic procedures.
