Miss South 2019 runner-up, Sasha-Lee Lauriel Oliver takes over the duties of Miss South Africa as Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi takes over the world.

Sasha has officially been crowned Miss South Africa and will now take over from Tunzi.

The 26-year-old recently participated in the Miss World pageant and made it into the competition’s top 40.

The Miss World crown went to Jamaica’s Toni-Ann Singh.

The official Miss SA social media account made the official announcement on Wednesday.

Sasha took to Instagram to also share the news, she reached out to South Africans, sharing how excited she is.

“I’m humbled and so incredibly excited to take over the reigns from our Miss Universe as Miss South Africa,” she wrote.
