Lil Smart, a former signee of Marlians Records, has made a surprising U-turn regarding his past allegations against Naira Marley.
In a recent interview with Muyiwa Adejobi, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force, the ex-marlian signee retracted his earlier claims of cyberbullying, kidnapping, assault, and robbery against the singer.
This sudden change of heart comes after he was arrested by the Nigerian police last month, following a petition filed by Naira Marley.
Naira Marley had released audio evidence implicating Lil Smart, which appeared to contradict Lil Smart’s initial allegations.
The Nigerian Police recently also confirmed the arrest on their official Instagram account, stating that Lil Smart was arrested at his residence.
However in a recent interview, Lil Smart clarified that he believed Naira Marley’s associates were responsible for the alleged actions, not the singer himself.
“Naira Marley never abducted me and he didn’t steal my $300 dollars.I thought his boys acted on his behalf “,He stated.
