In a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, February 18 Dele Odule claimed a blogger identified as Ope Ajiboye falsely shared that the actor was dead.

He added that the blogger posted a picture of the veteran actor alongside the word “RIP” in a baseless story. Addressing the issue, Dele Odule said:

“There’s nothing wrong with me, I am very much alive.

“I don’t understand why someone would wish me dead. This is barbaric, uncalled for, and not fair.”

The actor also took aim at another false report that suggested he had been arrested for child molestation, featuring an image of him in handcuffs.

Odule then expressed his gratitude to fans who have shown support.

Fellow stars like Jaiye Kuti, Niyi Johnson, Okunnu, Kunle Afod and Opeyemi Aiyeola have rallied behind the actor, reassuring him that nothing harmful will happen.
