With no hesitation, Nanette replied, “I have to say, Blxckie. For the culture, for our hood, for where I’m from, because we’re from the same hood. I would say Blxckie, for the Sydenham kids, so yeah.” This heartfelt shout-out to her roots in Sydenham, Durban — a shared hometown with Blxckie surely resonates with most fans.
