Popular Nigerian activist and social media sensation, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman (VDM), has once again unleashed his scornful critique, this time targeting the latest viral video of Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the flamboyant founder and head prophet of the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM).
The clip, which has rapidly gone viral since its release, shows Prophet Fufeyin in what he claims is a divine encounter aboard his private jet—a moment of spiritual revelation that has sent shockwaves through both his followers and critics alike.
In the video, Prophet Fufeyin is seen in a serene, almost meditative state, seated in the plush interior of his luxurious jet, surrounded by a handful of air hostesses standing by attentively.
As the jet slices through the clouds above, the preacher dramatically raises his head, as if to listen to a voice he insists is the voice of God. He claims to have received divine instructions on how to continue guiding his followers with heavenly wisdom.
But to Verydarkman, the video was more than just a moment of spiritual revelation, said it was a glaring representation of everything that has gone wrong in modern-day Christianity.
In a fiery post shared across his social media on January 6, VDM expressed his absolute disbelief at the lengths to which Prophet Fufeyin has gone to craft this over-the-top spectacle, one he claimed is designed not to inspire but to mesmerize, manipulate, and control.
