Nick Cannon‘s choice to have a dozen children with several women has been a prominent topic of conversation in recent years whenever his name is brought up. Now, he has given naysayers more ammo as he recently struggled to name all 12 of his kids’ names on the spot.

In the latest episode of Bobbi Althoff’s The Really Good Podcast, the host asked him to share the names of all his children, whom he shares with six different women. “You want all 12? This is where I usually get in trouble,” he replied. “I know all of them… But can you just rattle off 12 of anything? All right. Here we go. I’ll label it all off for you. See, let’s keep me honest.”

The Wild ‘n Out creator named 10 of his sons and daughters: Moroccan, Monroe, Golden, Powerful, Rise, Onyx, Legendary, Zion, Zillion, and Zen before taking a pause and asking, “How many?” Althoff said he’s “missing two,” and he rounded out the bunch by adding, “Did I say Beautiful? And Halo, my youngest.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Cannon explained why he chose to have so many kids. “I always wanted a big family. I come from a big family and I come from an unorthodox family,” he explained, adding, “I really think I’m a king,” and he needs kids to pack is “court.”

When the host asked if he planned to have any more, he said, “I think I’m done.” However, he’s open to seeing “what God or the universe has in store“ for him. It’s worth noting that back in March, he said the opposite.

“When I was 30, I didn’t have any kids… then by the time I was 40, I had 12,” he said. The women he shares his children with are Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole, and Alyssa Scott. He had a son with Scott named Zen, who passed away as a baby in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

While providing for his big family, Cannon is busy hosting and running multiple shows of his own. He currently has the Daily Cannon Show, Counsel Culture, Big Drive Show on Tubi, and Cannon’s Class. The Drumline actor celebrated Father’s Day this year by going to church with his family. See the post below and the podcast episode above.
